This was the first appearance of Connie, who turned out to be a vampire hunting Librarian (with help from Kate and Damian!).

Flash fiction, word count only 197.

There’s power in his movements, but it doesn’t occur to me to be afraid as he approaches me, holds his hand out in offer. I take it, gazing at his handsome face, the dark eyes that smile quietly at me. The club is crowded, yet we may as well be all alone as he leads me out to the dance floor. I’ve never danced like this, so sensually, with so much body contact. His hands search the bared skin of my lower back, caressing lightly as we move together.

An ache blooms inside me, and we are suddenly outside the club. I don’t know how we got there.

His lips graze against mine, move lower, his breath hot against the shivering skin of my neck. He brushes light kisses across it as a moan escapes me. My eyes closing in anticipation, I let my head tilt as my hand slides up his back.

Then…
I stake the bastard before he can sink fang.

Vampires are such easy prey.

Shaking the dust out of my hair, brushing myself off, I replace my trusty stake in the hidden sheath under my short jacket’s sleeve.

God, I love the hunt.

And we love Connie. Of course, we’d love her more if the next installment of her story appeared…

Yep, love this little vamp story :)

Okay, I’ll put up the next one.

Or did you mean a brand new one? It’ll have to wait until I type up the last three days’ worth of writing and get that book cover done! :)

Such a dilemma – cover, or more Connie? I need chocolate-covered strawberries to aid my decision-making process… But I think I meant the post-Meara material because I really don’t like that woman and want her coat to eat her.

ROTFLMAO…what’ll you give me to arrange that fate for her? Hmm?

I’ve already given you a planet(with twin moons), a ghost, a city state, a space feature, an IMP… come on, just a little nibble, pleeeease?
